Every point you make is valid and appropriate but in the end will make not one iota of difference. Gove is a typical product of the insularity of the Tories and will continue as long as he does not fall foul of the truly powerful whose patronage he currently enjoys. When he has outlived his usefulness they will get rid of him without a qualm. He is, in reality, a very insignificant minnow in the great scheme of the Tory rape of our country.firstnoelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08308759052595712941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2850358016902143288.post-78925724557912029272012-04-23T06:09:57.416+01:002012-04-23T06:09:57.416+01:00Nice article, thanks for the information.Nice article, thanks for the information.rental mobilhttp://www.mobilrental.infonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2850358016902143288.post-75619735639329501202012-04-15T22:18:35.356+01:002012-04-15T22:18:35.356+01:00I couldn't agree with you more. Well and truly!

I'm now only into second year of uni, I am the first person in my family to go to uni, but had I been younger and still at school now my prospects and the outcomes would be completely different.

No disrespect to my parents, but the only reason I was able to go to college and aim higher was because of ema (which funded my food and transport) and largely due to a particular teacher in high school who must have recognised how keen I was, and I received encouragement from him to go to college and uni; encouragement I might not have received at home.

Currently at uni, and for the lesson time given per week and sometimes the quality of lessons I begrudge the idea that my fees are 3 grand a year (which I am not paying back yet), let alone the idea of that being raised to 9.most students in my seminars and lectures (including me) have said point blank, if they had to pay 9 grand they would not be at uni and would have left school at 16 to seek employment. In my case, if i hadn't quickly sought to get into uni (after seeing the way the education system was going), I would never have went. And all the encouragement I received at school would be a complete waste.

But anyway, rant over. your article rings very true! And I dread to think about the direction school leavers now are facing; truth be told, many now will be without a choice, and their only way to get by will be to find a dead end job they don't enjoy or feel inspired by.Anne-Marie Pearcenoreply@blogger.com
